Assign Order Template (A)

The Assign Order Template feature within Buy Force Live is allows the A-user to lock order templates to users. The A-user can restrict users from editing assigned templates and remove access to the remaining supplier products to enforce order compliance.

Before you begin: ensure you have a copy of the template you wish to assign in your A-user profile.  If not, you create the new template or copy it from another user profile (see Create Order Template or Copy Order Template support for help).

 To assign an order template:

 

1)       From your A-user home page, select Ordering -> Templates -> Order Templates. 

2)       Select Assign on the right-hand side of the chosen template.

3)       Choose which users you wish to assign the template to using the Assign checkbox.

      o  Selecting ONLY Assign locks the template to the user it so that it cannot be edited.

      o  Selecting the Assign and Venue Can Edit checkboxes allows the venue to add additional items to the assigned template.

      o  Selecting the Assign and Allow Venue Templates checkboxes allows the user to create additional templates for the same supplier.

4)       Select the Assign button to save. 

The A-user can add, remove, and edit items on the master template at any stage, and assigned venues will receive the updated version immediately.
